Coming to a new country and school can be scary for students, their parents and school staff. We can help!<\/p>\n
SWIS program reaches out to newcomers\/immigrant families as they arrive in the school district, and provides them with settlement information and referrals to education and community resources.<\/p>\n
What we need from you:<\/p>\n
SD60 SWIS is proud to be a member of the Fort St. John Local Immigration Partnership for the North Peace Region.<\/p>\n
SWIS is also pleased to be part of a community partnership with other settlement service providers such as the Fort St. John Public Library, Fort St. John Literacy Society, SUCCESS, and Employment Connections WorkBC. All workshops and programs are free!<\/p>\n
