This year’s residential construction project is well underway. Partnering with the city, who donated two lots for each of three years, district students are now at the stage of shingling the two homes as part of the affordable housing project. Under the direct supervision of Richard Koop, these students are working on completing their level one technical training and will receive certification through Northern Lights College who have joined forces with School district # 60 to meet the instructional requirements of industry training.
