The City of Fort St John has proclaimed today to be Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is a nationally recognized day across Canada to symbolize that bullying will not be tolerated in schools and communities.

Many of our schools will be participating in activities for pink shirt day that discuss bullying. School District 60 staff and schools also work throughout the year to provide safe schools for our learning community members.

Robert Ogilvie was recently featured in an EnergeticCity article regarding the City proclamation and their planned activities for today.

What is your school community doing today? Tweet it out with the #sd60 hashtag!

For more information on the elimination of bullying in our schools and communities or if you need help please see http://erasebullying.ca/, or speak with your local school administrator.
