Earlier in September students and staff participated in a variety of learning events culminating in the planting of over a dozen trees on the Bert Ambrose school playground in collaboration with Tree Canada and community partners.
Dear Parents,The City of Fort St. John and region are excited to host the BC Winter Games February 20-23. School District 60 is a partner group in this substantial community initiative and will be supporting the games through the use of our facilities and volunteers.
You are invited to join Fort St John WorkBC Centre, School District 60: Peace River North, and STADD for learning session about organizations and services in the community that can support adults and youth with disabilities to transition into the workforce.
On Wednesday, September 11, 2019 we had a surprise visitor late in the afternoon at the School District Offices. A moose spent a few minutes wandering through Learning Services and was able to escape out the back door after being coaxed out by our Superintendent.
We hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer and we are looking forward to seeing you in our schools very soon!
