Today School District 60 celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day at the Indigenous Education Centre with our grade 6 classes learning through hands on activities. Students and teachers will participate in a variety of activity stations including, hand games, fur trade, stone soup & bannock, story telling, Metis arts pointillism and beading, arctic games, lacrosse, Indigenous games, and plants.
