Last Wednesday, NBCDES was awarded the Innovation in Education Award from Sci-Tech North – Supporting Innovation from Discovery to Delivery, for the school’s use of technology to delivery online programs to its students, and for pioneering a digital document delivery system to speed up service to students and to significantly reduce its paper consumption and carbon footprint.
At the same awards ceremony, Sarah Gullason, a NBCDES student, was awarded the Student award for Innovation. Sarah is working on a project that involves composting diapers. Congratulations Sarah!
