Final update- all sites have power restored as of 9:45pm. Thank you to BC Hydro crews for their hard work! Schools should be open Thursday

According to network maps it is likely the following schools do not have power as of 7:10am. Parents should keep students safe at home where schools are without power until the power is restored.

Duncan Cran (came back on after 2pm)
Baldonnel (came back on after 2pm)
Hudson’s Hope(came back on after 9pm)
Wonowon(came back on after 9pm)
Upper Halfway(came back on after 9pm)
Aboriginal Education Centre(came back on at 8pm)

Update 1 – 7:39 AM – no change in status of power outages at listed sites

Update 2 – 7:50 AM – no change in status of power outages. BC Hydro reports 5pm restoration for Duncan Cran area.

Update 3 – 10:00 AM – no change – power still out. Future updates when we are aware of any changes. 

Update 4 – 2:40 PM – Baldonnel and Duncan Cran now have power.

Update 5 – 3:47 PM – Current BCHydro estimates for restoration of service – Hudson’s Hope is 11pm Jan 15th – Wonowon, Upper Halfway, and AbEd is 4pm Jan 15th 

Update 6 – 6:20 PM – Four buildings still out (HH, Won., UH, AbEd). One more update late tonight and then the next update will be early tomorrow morning

Update 7 – 8 PM – Aboriginal
Education Centre has power.
