School District 60 Facilities department does a wide variety of construction and maintenance work on our facilities. Lately on linoleum projects they have been using cut ends to make interesting patterns in rooms. This serves dual purposes of waste reduction by utilizing cut ends as well as reduces costs as no new linoleum needs to be purchased.
Great examples of Rethink and Reduction from the 5Rs (Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) from our Facilities department.
